Good Things in Yemen

Well Yemen may be the armpit of the Middle East, but I want you to know that it is not all bad. Here are a few things that I have found over the last week that might not be considered bad:

1. The commissary stocks Sam Adams
2. I do not have to my own laundry
3. I do not have to do any cooking
4. Someone else cleans my room
5. There is internet (however slow it might be)
6. The commissary stocks Jack Daniels
7. 90% of the people are very friendly and are wondering where a 6'3" giant came from

I know that it is not much, but its a start. I've been here for less than a week.
